Hello

I’m not a ufo “fan” or follower, but I witnessed something I cannot explain.  On Nov 9, 2011, at about 7 pm I was walking about while speaking to a friend on my cell phone.  Suddenly, some lights apperared in the sky that so suprised me I commented to her “what the hell is that?”  Of course she could not see it, but I described what I saw to her as it happened.  Here is the account:

At about 20 degrees above the horizon northwest of Tonopah there appreared a line of 4 or 5 evenly spaced white lights, forming a line that would be roughly 40 degrees off a line perpendicular to the surface.  The lights came on all at once, then went off, then came back on in sequence from top to botton.  They then again went off, and an identical “routine” appeared adjacent and to the left, such that if both lines were lit they would have formed a perfect “V”.   The entire event lasted approximately 45 seconds, and was not seen again.  The brightness of each point of light was well in excess of the brightest of a star or a planet, and all points were of equal brightness.

Ok, all that is well and good.  But I have to start doubting my own sanity, beca

use about a month previous, in the same general area of the sky, I saw a perfect triangle, three lights, very bright and of equal intensity.  They remained visible for perhaps 30 seconds, blinked off, then back on for a few seconds, and then vanished not to be seen again.

I have a graduate degree in geology and geography, so I’m not stupid or naive.  But I cannot explain what I saw. Just wanted to tell SOMEONE!
