Panoply of Recent So Cal UFO sightings

I will add to this post as I cull new sightings…

This is a site I recently uncovered with a number of UFO sightings clips… I suggest you check out the one called “2010 UFO OVNI– LA California.

Ball Of Fire UFO Over Simi Valley California

Date: July 30, 2010
Time: 10:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Simi Valley, CA.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: While sitting in our front yard I saw a quick flash in the sky directly south of us. As near as I could tell, it seemed to be over the Malibu area, distance wise. Out of the flash, we watched what appeared to be a ball of fire moving from west to east for about 10 seconds.

The “fire” took on a more solid appearance as it slowed then changed direction moving up and away (south) from us. We watched it for about 30 more seconds, growing smaller until it just vanished. I have seen many things in my life, but nothing like what we saw tonight.

My father was a pilot and I am quite familiar with aircraft lights. This was not a conventional aircraft, weather balloon or bottle rocket. It has been haunting me for the last hour or so. That’s why I went online to try and see if I could find out what it was. My search brought me to this sight and in truth, I debated about sharing our “sighting” until I saw post of similar sightings in other areas.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net

This is the original clip as posted by the videographer himself… note the excitement in his voice. (”It’s burning! It’s burning now!”) On July 23, Flyingcoffininspace said: “This is only six minutes of a two hour video taping. I was holding the camera for two hours straight and at the end another saucer flew by at 3:49, I paused for everyone to see.”

  • I am looking for an explanation of some things my friend and I witnessed in the skies over Los Angeles County and Orange County on May 26, 2010 around 6pm.

The best way I can explain the shape is to imagine a Slinky. Instead of it being a round tube, make it rectangular 4 sided (2x by 1x by 2x by 1x ). Now, pull it open. Then, instead of the wire to be so slim, make it wide and flat like a ribbon.

Now, you have a rectantular, flat ribboned Slinky. Open it and hang one end up in the clouds, pull it open making it extend doward towards Earth like it was being dragged.

There was one very long, a few miles long over Orange County and one shorter one I could see over Los Angeles County, seemed shorter and higher at a distance. They were black and were not smokey at all. They were not disappearing or dissipating like smoke at all!!! They laste the 20 minutes I could spare to observe them, since I was on my way to work and running late.

Has anyone witnessed these or does anyone know what they were? I tell you, I have been skywatching since I was 9. I am now 59. The friend I was with is the friend I witnessed another very STRANGE thing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL a few years ago. Jokingly but sercious…..Does WIERDNESS follow us around?

All joking aside, I would be EXTREMELY interested in finding out what these “streamers” were which were not dissipating like smoke would. I have had people suggest they might be clouds….they were nothing like clouds. Just like I explained it in black, flat, rectangular coiled extensions hanging for miles from the clouds over the Pacific towards Santa Ana, which is where I was when I observed them.
