Researchers: Bigfoot Lives in New Mexico
The founder of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization said Bigfoot is as close as any mountain range in New Mexico.
Matt Moneymaker told Action 7 News, evidence includes video footage.
His show, Finding Bigfoot on Animal Planet Channel, showed an image caught on infrared camera of a creature walking in the woods deep in the Jemez.
“I know they’re there because I’ve heard them myself during expeditions,” he said. ”But there are so many witnesses up there, people continue to see them and that’s how we know they’re still there.”
But they’re not the only ones researching in the land of enchantment.
Rob Kryder of Kryder Exploration has video of what he believed was a Sasquatch standing on a ridge in the Sandias in 1995.
He enhanced the shot to see if it was a tree, but he says it’s clearly a Bigfoot.
“We don’t see a lot of fear response,” explained Kryuder. ”We see a lot of thoughtful intelligent movement, they’re extremely extremely strategic.”
He showed me this footprint cast of a male, about 12 feet tall who runs around with a female in the Sandias, East of the Northeast Heights.
But Kryder has also found evidence near Madrid.
Kryder and his team have been tracking a family of three for about a year in the Eastern Ortiz Moutains.
They found trees pushed over, which researchers said is a form of communication or warning.
They also found bark ripped off of the ones left standing.
At night, they have caught their howls.
“It was completely different,” said Kryder Exploration researcher Melissa Thompson. ”There was nothing wildlife-wise that we were able to get that matched what we were seeing.”
And that’s not all!
Fellow team member Josh Lawrence said he saw “eye-shine” or a Bigfoot staring at him through some trees during an evening investigation.
“Their eyes are big,” he said. ”I mean, bigger than a dog, a cat, or a rabbit.”
Of course, most of you are still skeptical, but that doesn’t deter these Bigfoot believers.
“There’s enough physical evidence out there to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt a thousand times over,” said Kryder.

NM stabbing suspect thought choir leader was a Mason
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) – The Albuquerque man accused of stabbing four churchgoers during Sunday Mass told police he was after the choir leader because he thought the man was a Mason.
According to a criminal complaint, 24-year-old Lawrence Capener said he was going after the choir leader at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church because his “speech was different” and he was 99 percent sure he was a Mason.
He told the investigator that Masons are a group involved “in a conspiracy that is far more reaching than I could or would believe.”
Capener says he stabbed others who tried to subdue him because he thought they might be masons, too.
The affidavit says Capener apologized for stabbing the others after he was read his rights and agreed to speak to police.

2012 UFO Reports from New Mexico
Billy Booth shares 3 of the best of 2012 here.
Bigfoot? In the Jemez? Perhaps.
Then, there’s “Finding Bigfoot,” a hit series that follows a team of investigators as it tracks the elusive sasquatch. They’ve been all over the United States and the world investigating accounts and video clips of purported Bigfoot sightings, which to my untrained eye often look like guys in black clothes or ape suits.
The New Mexico episode centered on a nighttime thermal video taken in the Jemez on an outing of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization in 2011. The TV team camped out in the Jemez in the same spot that the BFRO captured a figure lurking in the woods and tried to lure a sasquatch by howling and urinating to mark territory in hopes the apeman would move in to defend it.
They also held a town hall meeting at the Los Ojos saloon in Jemez Springs, where New Mexicans described ‘squatch encounters. A woman recounted a Bigfoot peering into her cabin window. A man said he saw two running across N.M. 4 at dusk. And two campers told of a big apeman tearing apart their campsite.

Rez monsters: Bizarre creatures and spirits attract interest on Navajo Nation

FARMINGTON — A smashed watermelon is spread out in the middle of a dirt road in Upper Fruitland, a community where everything from giant pterodactyls to walking lizards to furry children have been reported.
The watermelon happens to be for Bigfoot, another one of the inhabitants of the bucolic town on the outskirts of the Navajo reservation.
“My grandma left it for him,” says Felicia Frank, who lives nearby. “I said, “Grandma, you’re feeding Bigfoot?’”
Down the road, Frank points out where several people have sighted the legendary, hairy being, along with other odd species.
“Things like this happen all the time on the rez,” she says, noting that it is not just in Upper Fruitland that these extraordinary sightings occur.
It’s just a matter of getting people to talk about it.
