Description:

I was outside and my fiancee was in the car looking at the sky through the sunroof. She noticed that some airplanes had left contrails that resembled a pentagram in the sky and told me to look up at it. That is when we noticed a bright, orange light traveling from the northeast towards the southwest. It did not appear to be an airplane and was, in my opinion, traveling much too fast to be a weather baloon. The object remained at a constant brightness the entire time. It traveled straight across the sky and did not seem to change direction. The sky was clear with the exception of a few clouds. It appeared to be traveling below the clouds when we first saw it as the clouds were behind the object. We watched it for about three minutes as it traveled across the sky. Then it appeared to be traveling above the clouds as the clouds were now below the object. We continued to watch for the object but did not see it again after if traveled above the cloud. We felt a little aprehensive while watching it because we did not know what it was and could not rationally explain it. We considered that it may have been an airplane reflecting the sunlight off of it but it was much to bright and perfectly round (no wings).

As I remember from coast to coast the other night, this is the area where Dr. David Anderson is doing his time travel experiments.  Connection?

Very strange UFO report from Las Cruces

Description:

I was looking NE, over my garden wall, toward and over the Organ Mountain Range, which borders the White Sands Missile Test range, but what I saw cannot be explained by a missile test, AND locally whenever they are testing they close down the HWY 70 so that no one is endangered. Specifically, I was letting my dog back in, and saw a series of stationary fireballs that were so bright, I at first wondered if I were about to witness a boloid or other meteoric event. It was bright enough to clearly stand out and be both brighter and larger than sodium vapor streetlights, which were also in my field of view, and at least 10 degrees above the horizon, which would have put it above my view of the mountain range. I saw 3 or four flashes like this, the orange color of flame, then it went out. I let the dog back in, and on a whim, because I was curious, I went back outside to see what else I might see. When I went back out, slightly more north, I saw what looked like two fireballs, or stationary jet boosters, side by side, and that object, whatever it was, was stationary like the other fireball looking thing. It let out a smaller set of objects, which were also flaming and curved beneath the larger object, and out of view. I witnessed this twice, then the flare went out. At this point, I tried to go get my tripod and my video cam, but I couldn’t get the settings right to see anything, apparently, on review of the video. I watched for about another half hour, and just as I was going to call it a night, I saw a series of 7-8, well, fire flares, as if an object was travelling laterally in the sky, and having an engine set on fire. short, very short bursts of flame. The object was just past due north now, headed from the south to the north north west. I did not see it again. I will allow that, being so close to a military base, it may have been training exercises, but there was no sound, there was no road closure which they do all the time when testing, and nothing showed up today in the local media. I don’t know what to think.

Albuquerque UFO and Paranormal Forum

Thanks to the snow yesterday I did not make the meeting. :(  I was awake and everything and then I realized that I could probably make it out of the driveway and down the hill, but probably not back up the hill when I returned.  It was also still snowing then, so I went back to sleep.

Apparently in my absence they changed the name from MJ-7 to Albuquerque UFO and Paranormal Forum.  Personally, a little too boring for me, but I suppose it is more descriptive. :)

Aside from the name change, it sounds as though there may be some interesting things coming up.  I will hold off on mentioning those until they are more definite, especially since I wasn’t at the meeting so I am not sure what is going on.

Very boring day here.  I hate being trapped by snow when I wasn’t expecting it and didn’t plan ahead.  The weatherman the previous evening made it sound like it would be a very light snow, certainly nothing that would trap me here for the day.  I should have known better, normally I prepare even if it is only suppose to be light snow – because they are often wrong.  Can’t wait for Spring to arrive!
