Wiccan pleads no contest in man’s death
ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An Albuquerque woman accused of stabbing a man with a ritual Wiccan dagger pleaded no contest Friday to second degree murder.
Angela Sanford originally told police that she stabbed Joe Levya because she was scared he was going to rape her when they were in the Sandia Foothills for a Spring Ceremony last year. A story police and prosecutors didn’t buy.
Sanford reportedly had Levya’s phone number stored in her cell phone under the word “Sacrifice.”
Sanford was facing first degree murder charges but agreed to plea no contest to second degree murder with an aggravated enhancement for the brutal nature of the crime.
The judge could sentence Sanford to up to 20 years in prison. She will be sentenced October 5th.

UFOs over Las Cruces?
LAS CRUCES — Call it a close encounter of the Las Cruces kind.
Jude Fiebert, who has lived in Las Cruces since 1982, isn’t convinced that what she saw was an alien ship. But she would like to know what’s behind the enormous yellow sphere rising in the East on Friday night.
“It was an enormous light rising over the Organ Mountains on the east side of town at midnight (Friday),” she said. “I was looking out and I can see the Organ Mountains. Then there’s this enormous yellow sphere rising from behind the mountains. It’s not a moon, just an enormous yellow sphere.”
She said the orb, which appeared to be the orange and yellow color often seen in a Harvest Moon, was five or 10 times the size of the sun rising over the mountain.
“It started flaking off little red flakes and sinking down into the mountain. It seemed like the flakes were burning off,” she said. “I know it wasn’t a full moon … we just had one two weeks ago.”
Fiebert was the first to admit she suspected activity at White Sands Missile Range was behind the strange apparition. But, she does want answers.
“I’m not loco,” she said. “I really saw this.”
After asking around to see if anyone else saw the light, she called the National UFO Reporting Center and was told several other sightings had been sent in, reporting the same light.
Officials with Mesilla Valley Regional Dispatch in Las Cruces said they didn’t remember receiving any calls around that time. Holloman Air Force Base public affairs office in Alamogordo said they normally would not be conducting any testing at that time of night and they did not know if WSMR was conducting tests. Officials at WSMR were not immediately available to confirm if any testing took place..

Dulce: the movie
Wow! I hadn’t heard about this, but it sounds creepy, which from me means awesome! You can find out about this film at Silver Screen Saucers.
Dulce Base: What Are We Seeing?
During the past several months, I have accorded some attention to several unexplained livestock attacks and cryptid sightings on the Dine Navajo lands in the Four Corners region…in particular, those areas in northwest New Mexico. Many of these attacks were, most likely, the result of Bigfoot-type hominids that are regularly seen in this area. Other attacks have a more bizarre angle, especially when the tracks of the perpetrator are of an unfamiliar genus and / or suddenly end in mid-stride as well as animal carcasses drained of blood and not fed upon.
The Archuleta Mesa area near Dulce, New Mexico has long been rumored to hold a joint government-alien biogenetic laboratory designed to carry out bizarre experiments on humans and animals. It has also been said that the lower levels of this underground system stretches between Dulce and Los Alamos some 90 miles to the south-east. Because of the proximity of these facilities to the Dine Navajo lands, is it possible that these attacks are of unknown experimental beings that have either escaped from the facility or have been released in order to be scientifically monitored?
It may seems to be a far-fetched hypothesis…unless, of course, you are the victim of the attacks and have no idea of what you’re dealing with. The following narratives may temper your resolve or offer some curiosity to the question.
