Deming, NM Occupant Case

In a late June or July 1972, in Deming, New Mexico (USA), Mrs. Hilda McAfee and her mother, driving in the direction of Las Cruces where, about 23 miles east of Deming, she was surprised to see a blinding ray of light.

Amid the strong light, she observed two figures of average height, wearing pale blue overalls. The costume was very large, with wide belts, gloves, and dark boots. On their heads was a case with the dark visor.

The humanoids were not concerned by the presence of women.

They were “repairing” or “working” under a artifact that emitted a blue light, while talking to each other.

They seemed rigid in their movements. Patti Morris, a researcher, said the women believed they had hit the artifact with their vehicle as it was in the middle road. They also speculate that the “light” of the device was used to avoid an accident.

The two women had burning, sharp pains in the chest and arms after the encounter on the road.

Interestingly, the husband of Mrs. McAfee, Mike Rogers, is the brother of one of the witnesses of the famous Travis Walton case.

Strange Boom Sound

As some of you may know I live in the canyon, just east of Albuquerque.

Just a little while ago, around 5:10 am I heard a loud boom type sound which seemed to vibrate the upper story of my home, but not so much down here where I was.  Right after, I looked out the window and saw a red light high in the sky which was gone when I checked a few seconds (maybe a minute) later.  That could have been a plane, but seemed to be solid red.  Oh, and the chihuahuas next door went totally crazy for several minutes.

Anyhow, if anyone experienced anything similar, please, let me know.  Thanks!

From Norio:

Norio Hayakawa will be conducting a FREE, guided one-day tour to Dulce, New Mexico on Saturday, May 12, 2012. The theme of my free, guided tour is: UFO CONSPIRACY TOUR OF DULCE, NEW MEXICO. I will be leading a car caravan for this guided tour. The entire information is posted on this YouTube post: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9AknF3k4dU
The car caravan will depart at 6:30 a.m. from the northwest-most corner of the parking lot of HOME DEPOT (located at the northeast corner of Hwy 550 and Sprint Blvd. in Rio Rancho). The caravan will proceed on Hwy 550 going towards Cuba. We will then go north on Hwy 537 (which will begin at the corner of Hwy 550 and Apache Nugget Casino). We will then go West on Hwy 64.
First stop: GROUND ZERO of the 1967 underground explosion (PROJECT GASBUGGY) that took place 22 miles SW of Dulce. We will be there for about an hour, from around 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. For those of you will may be going directly to Dulce, here are the directions to GROUND ZERO: http://www.atomictourist.com/gasbug.htm
From there, we will proceed to Dulce, going east on Hwy 64.
We will join with the other contingent of the trip (those who will meet us directly at Dulce) at the parking lot of Best Western Hotel in Dulce. The caravan will depart from the parking lot of Best Western Hotel at 11:30 a.m. We will take you to the famous Gomez grocery store on Hwy 64 and view the Gomez family’s last remaining ranch (where cattle mutilations took place in the 70s).
We will then proceed back to Dulce and take a left on Narrow Gage Rd.. We will make a right at J-2 dirt road, which is located at the foothills of the Archuleta Mesa.
First stop:
the road that goes up to Mount Archuleta.
Second stop:
Seguro Canyon Rd. (the road that goes up to Archuleta Mesa).
We will not go up the Archuleta Mesa.
Third stop:
We will stop at the picnic area of Navajo River on J-2 road. This area was the scene of alleged bigfoot sightings years ago.
Fourth stop:
the bridge from where communication towers of Archuleta Mesa are clearly visible.
We will also go to the Dulce Rock area (where there have been many sightings of strange flying objects in the past).
We will also go to the Dulce Lake.
We will also go to the Dulce airport area (where there had been reports of strange hovering objects at the end of the runway in the past).

We will also visit the neighboring town of Lumberton from where we can see the Eastern Slopes of Archuleta Mesa. We will talk to some local residents who have some amazing sighting reports in that area.
We will then go back to Dulce and visit the parking lot of Dulce Elementary School (that has a rather enigmatic design of its circular driveway as seen from satellite photos). We will see the “arrow” on that driveway. We will also look at a snow-capped mountain located northeast of this sport – exactly 18 miles away from that spot.
At each of these stops, I will be giving explanations of the significance of each location. There will be much, much more to this interesting field trip. Please join us on May 12, 2012.

UFOs: The Project Beta Scandal

paul_bennewitzMany people unacquainted with the complexities of the UFO puzzle assume that all talk of attempts by “the government” to silence certain players in the field is nothing but outright paranoia and lies. Even within Ufology there are those who dismiss such stories as X-Files-like nonsense. How wrong they all are. Published in 2005, Greg Bishop’s book, Project Beta: The Story of Paul Bennewitz, National Security, and the Creation of a Modern UFO Myth, provided the field of UFO research with what was without doubt one if its most important contributions in years.

The subject matter of Project Beta was an unusual one; and while seasoned researchers were already aware of certain aspects of this dark and ultimately tragic affair, those unaccustomed to the events in question might have been forgiven for thinking that they had stumbled upon a high-tech, X-Files-meets-Robert Ludlum-style thriller. But Project Beta told a very real story – one that was as harrowing as it was informative.

In essence, the truth-is-stranger-than-fiction book related the saga of physicist Paul Bennewitz, who, after digging into Air Force and National Security Agency secret projects at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico in the late 1970s that he believed were connected to the activities of sinister extraterrestrials and UFOs, was put under deep surveillance by the US military and intelligence services, and was bombarded by the murky world of officialdom with a mass of disinformation, faked stories and outright lies in order to divert him from his research – which worked. In fact, it worked rather too well, and led to the mental and psychological disintegration of Bennewitz.

Paul Villa and the Coma Berenices Contacts

villa1

June 16, 1963 – near Albuquerque, N.M. – Apolinar (Paul) A. Villa, Jr., 49 – (born Sept. 24, 1916), a mechanic of 601 Niagara N.E.; Albuquerque, New Mexico, had a unique privilege having prearranged meetings with ‘Space People’ for the specific purpose of taking pictures of their craft.

Apparently, contacts of one kind or another with space people are not new to Mr. Villa. He says that he has been taught telepathy by extraterrestrial intelligence since he was five years old. Although he did not complete the tenth grade of school, he seems to have a good knowledge on such subjects as mathematics, electricity, physics, and mechanics, and has an unusual “gift” for detecting defects in engines, generators, etc.

UFO’s making NM top tourist spot

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – “We are not the only life in the universe. ”

Travis Walton says he knows first hand because he’s seen aliens. In 1975, Walton was logging in the Arizona Gila, when he and six other loggers spotted something in the sky.

“I got out of the truck and went to get a closer look and I was knocked unconscious by a bolt of energy,” said Walton. “I regained consciousness outside the town nearest where this happened about five days later. ”

It’s a story Walton has told all over the world; and next week he will tell it here in Albuquerque .

Roswell: Same as it ever was

wakeupmeltclockLive in NM or thinking that a UFO conference would give you the perfect excuse to visit?  Why waste you hard earned dollars in Roswell which is having mostly the same old boring speakers that they have every single year?  No reason to.  There is a much more interesting conference taking place in Albuquerque in August!

Not that there is anything wrong with Stanton Friedman.  I love Stan!  However, just looking through the line-up doesn’t give me any good reason to drive over 3 hours to Roswell in the hot July weather.  Almost a year of planning and that is the best they could come up with?

In Albuquerque (which actually has a real airport) in August will be a great conference!  With great speakers like: Nick Redfern, Adam Gorightly, Lyn Buchanan, Brooks Agnew, David Weatherly and more!  Check it out at the Wake Up Now website.  While it is possible some of those speakers may change and/or new ones may be added, you can be sure that the diversity of speakers will be far greater than anything you will find in Roswell.  SyFy’s Bill Murphy will not only be hosting, but also speaking at the event!
