Description:
I live about a mile north of the end of the airport runway in Angel Fire, NM. Angel Fire is in a valley at an elevation of 8,400 ft surrounded by mountains of roughly 10,000 ft to the east and 13,300 feet to the west. Just before 9 pm on August 26 I heard and felt a window-rattling noise, which caused me to go outside to investigate. Once outside, I looked up and saw a large helicopter (with bright exterior lights and dim interior lights, noise, spinning rotors) traveling slowly in a northward direction a few hundred feet above Hwy 64. Immediately in front of the helicopter was an object approximately four times as long as the helicopter. The object was bullet-shaped on both ends and cylindrical between the bullet-shaped ends. The object had no lights, no wings, no markings or windows that I could see, and made no sound. It blocked out the stars behind it. I was able to discern its shape by the shape of the area of blocked-out stars and by the moonlight which illuminated its underside. The night was clear, with no clouds and easily-distinguishable stars. The moon (just a couple of days past full) was rising over the mountains to the east at the time I saw the object. It appeared to me that the object was being “escorted” by the helicopter behind it. Both the helicopter and the object moved at a steady, but slow, pace. The unknown object traveled steadily with no wobble or other movement. I watched the helicopter and the unknown object for about three minutes until they disappeared over the horizon. (The helicopter lights were visible for about three minutes the object in front of the helicopter became unseeable after about a minute and a half.) My feelings? Incredulity! Curiosity! Why was a large UFO flying so low and why was a large helicopter ‘assisting’ it?

Breaking News!

Correction — It is just Karyn, Rich is speaking in MA this weekend.

Karyn Dolan says that she and Richard will be at the Paranormal Symposium and Film Festival in Angel Fire, Sept 9-12.  I don’t see either of them listed on the speaker list, but possibly ASPE hasn’t updated the site yet or maybe they are just going there for fun. :-)  If you can make it to the symposium there are plenty of great speakers like Stanton Friedman and Travis Walton.

New information about secret Dulce base to be revealed at Symposium

ANGEL FIRE, NM • AUG 30, 2010 – Compelling new information regarding the existence of a secret military base jointly operated by the U.S. government and extraterrestrials near Dulce, New Mexico will be revealed at the 2010 Paranormal Symposium and Film Festival September 9-12 in Angel Fire, NM. Dulce researchers and investigators Anthony F. Sanchez, Norio Hayakawa, and Dennis Balthaser are scheduled for an exclusive interview and panel discussion with radio host Jerry Pippin at noon on Saturday during the conference. The public is welcome to attend.

In a widely-disseminated August 28 press release, Sanchez reported he tracked down and vetted a reliable source who claims he worked at the Dulce facility. According to Sanchez, the source is a retired Air Force colonel who has proven his claims, which include his assignment to Dulce as part of a special military medical detachment. Sanchez conducted an extensive interview with the colonel, who related events surrounding a classified 1979 incident at Dulce, and revealed what he learned about the history and circumstances surrounding the harrowing 1940 Dulce Discovery event. Sanchez has included the entire interview in his new book, UFO Highway.

In March 2009, a conference debating the existence the Dulce base was widely reported in both UFO and mainstream media. The conference was hosted by Hayakawa, who was also responsible for “outing” many Area 51 activities during the 1990s. Nearly 130 people from as far away as Hawaii and New York attended the conference, including Balthaser and other high-profile UFO and exopolitical experts who presented both pro and con arguments about the rumored base. They were joined by eyewitnesses, law enforcement officers and local residents, all of whom presented credible and convincing testimony.

Rumors about the secret government facility near Dulce began in 1967 after a 29-kiloton nuclear explosive was detonated at a depth of 4222 feet near the Archuletta Mesa on the Jicarilla Apache Indian reservation at Dulce, supposedly to produce underground routes for an estimated 300 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. The venture was known as Project Gasbuggy. However, according to an August 29, 1959 report in Time Magazine, the minor amount of gas released from the explosion was not only too radioactive for use, it was worth less than the cost of the explosion. Since then, reports of cattle mutilations, UFO sightings, and mysterious illnesses in the Dulce area have been widely circulated, along with allegations of nefarious activities in a secret underground military facility at nearby Archuletta Mesa.

We are not alone

ANGEL FIRE — An intensive ten-month investigation of anomalies in a local hay field indicates we are truly not alone, and that UFOs have landed in the area.

New Mexico MUFON Assistant Director Dee Gragg will present the first public report of the investigation at 2 p.m., Saturday (May 29) in the Angel Fire Community Center, 71 Valley Road.

A phone call in late 2008 sparked the investigation, when owners of a ranch near Angel Fire contacted

Alliance Studying Paranormal Experiences (ASPE) to request examination of large unexplainable ground formations found during autumn mowing of their hay field.

According to the ranch owners, the formations were not there when the field was sown earlier in the year.

Initially, the ranch owners believed the formations were crop circles, but after receiving photos of the site from ASPE director Janet Sailor, MUFON suspected the anomalies were caused by unidentified craft landing in the field.

Gragg was assigned to search for evidence, and formed a team to investigate the site.

The ranch owners also reported seeing both stationary and moving lights in the sky at night during the summer of 2008.

After initially requesting anonymity, the ranch owners have agreed to be present Saturday to corroborate Gragg’s report, which will include a slide show of photographs and evidence.

General admission is $20. ASPE member admission is $10. Press passes may be requested by emailing info@aspefiles.org or by calling 575-377-2667.

Celtic Traditions and the Paranormal

MARCH 20, 2010 • 2 – 4 PM

Angel Fire Community Center • 71 Valley Road • Angel Fire, NM (CLICK FOR MAP)

There’s a lot more to Ireland than St. Patrick . . .

Sara Corry trained through the England-based Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids (http://www.druidry.org/). She completed her formal training in 2004 and has been tutoring/mentoring Bardic and Ovate students since then. She also helps coordinate the tutoring/mentoring program of the Order, supporting people who participate in the course. Corry currently lives in Albuquerque.

Her presentation will examine Celtic beliefs about beings that inhabit the Otherworld, the world that exists “beyond the veil,” looking at what Irish and Welsh mythology tells about the Faery folk, where they originated, and where they dwell now. The presentation will also examine the role of nature spirits, elementals, dragons, leprechauns, flower fairies, and numerous other beings that for most of us are unseen, but that many of us accept as “real” and open to interacting with us. The spiritual work of current practitioners with these entities today will also be discussed; and stories from the British Isles about modern-day beliefs regarding Otherworld beings will also be perused, with Corry sharing some personal observations from her spiritual practice and experience.

Hughes will also show a remote-viewing demonstration video and discuss how remote viewing can be learned and mastered and potentially be used for applications in defense of humanity and the planet at large.

A Q&A session with the audience will follow the presentation.
