I was looking NE, over my garden wall, toward and over the Organ Mountain Range, which borders the White Sands Missile Test range, but what I saw cannot be explained by a missile test, AND locally whenever they are testing they close down the HWY 70 so that no one is endangered. Specifically, I was letting my dog back in, and saw a series of stationary fireballs that were so bright, I at first wondered if I were about to witness a boloid or other meteoric event. It was bright enough to clearly stand out and be both brighter and larger than sodium vapor streetlights, which were also in my field of view, and at least 10 degrees above the horizon, which would have put it above my view of the mountain range. I saw 3 or four flashes like this, the orange color of flame, then it went out. I let the dog back in, and on a whim, because I was curious, I went back outside to see what else I might see. When I went back out, slightly more north, I saw what looked like two fireballs, or stationary jet boosters, side by side, and that object, whatever it was, was stationary like the other fireball looking thing. It let out a smaller set of objects, which were also flaming and curved beneath the larger object, and out of view. I witnessed this twice, then the flare went out. At this point, I tried to go get my tripod and my video cam, but I couldn’t get the settings right to see anything, apparently, on review of the video. I watched for about another half hour, and just as I was going to call it a night, I saw a series of 7-8, well, fire flares, as if an object was travelling laterally in the sky, and having an engine set on fire. short, very short bursts of flame. The object was just past due north now, headed from the south to the north north west. I did not see it again. I will allow that, being so close to a military base, it may have been training exercises, but there was no sound, there was no road closure which they do all the time when testing, and nothing showed up today in the local media. I don’t know what to think.

We were outside with our dogs when we saw a series of large amber colored lights ,first 3 in a row come on and go out. They were over our mountains. Then they came on again several miles to the right. This time they were not in a row..two of the lights were together the other above and to the left. Over the course of an hour we further saw single lights come on and go out quickly in different parts of the sky. Since, we were outside we heard no engine sounds. My husband is a former Navy Jet pilot. He could not identify what they were. We did not see them move at all. There were no running lights visible which is in violation of the FAA if it were a conventional aircraft. Has anyone from Las Cruces mentioned these sightings ?

I was coming home from Alamogordo, NM on White Sands Blvd heading toward Tularosa, NM. At the intersection of White Sands and US 82 toward Cloudcroft, I looked up to my left and up in the sky, not to high up and to low for a plane to fly I saw lights. They were gold and were horizontal with two lights then a space and then four lights. Below those lights were a couple other lights but I am not sure how many. The lights were there one second and gone the next. I told my sons whom were in the car with me what I had seen and I thought it was rather odd. As we drove from US 82 toward Cloudcroft, we turned left toward La Luz New Mexico. When we go into La Luz, we stopped at the stop sign, went straight passed the Post Office and was heading toward the brigde to go up into the Canyon. Right before we came to the church that is on the left I looked up again and told my oldest son to look out the window. Sure enough there were the lights again. This time we saw the two lights and then the four lights. There were no lights below these lights. They were pretty low this time, way to low for a plane to fly, right above the tree tops and there was no sound at all. They lights were there for about 5 second and then they were gone. I pulled into the church to see if I could see anything else but there was nothing there in the sky just the stars.

My mother and I were traveling to Albuquerque on US Highway 54, Northbound, at approximately milepost 86, when we saw one bright orange sphere turn into 2, then 3, then four, in a horizontal line, then blinked off one by one, then blinked back on again, and then off again. The spheres were to the left of our vehicle and seemed pretty low and large up in the sky. The SUV in front on of us must have seen it too because it began swerving all over the road and kept changing turn signals. Then we saw one orange sphere at a much higher altitude flying at a high rate of speed, in southeast direction, followed by an airplane flying at a much slower speed. While sphere approached west horizon of mountains, blinked out of sight. The plane pursued it until then and flew in circles after it disappeared. My mother and I were very excited and amazed by the presence of the spheres. I was pretty sure they were ships and not made by our military.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) – For sale, just in time for Halloween, one haunted house. Inquire within if you dare.

The owner of the haunted home in the remote town of Cuchillo in southwestern New Mexico has actually listed it on eBay.

Josh Bond said he put the home up for sale after paranormal investigation experts from West Coast Ghost and Paranormal Society confirmed in May that the house is haunted.

The new owner will be getting several original furnishings that Bond believes are related to the haunting.

They include an antique wood burning stove, an antique wedding dress and a large religious shrine discovered tucked away in a back closet.

The e-Bay Auction began on October 1 and ends on Halloween, October 31.

Myths and legends about creatures from the Chupacabra to the Jersey Devil to Bigfoot are everywhere, but in southern New Mexico and parts of Texas people say they’ve seen birds so big they seem prehistoric.

One man claims the rugged landscape near Las Cruces hides a mystery that’s haunted him for several years.

Dave Zander has lived near the Doña Ana Mountains for more than 30 years spending almost all his spare time hiking, exploring and fossil hunting in the range between the Robledo and Organ mountains.

He saw something that he’s unable to explain and many people find hard to believe.

He recalls the day eleven years ago when he spotted something extraordinary: two creatures perched on a mountain less than a mile away.

“These creatures were so huge they looked like the size of small planes,” Dave Zander said. “All of the sudden one of them jumped off dropped off the top of the mountain, came down the front of the mountain and all the sudden these huge wings just spread out.

AT THE SAME ADDRESS OF THE OTHER SITEING AT 952 CALLE SERENO IN LAS CRUCES FROM THE SOUTHEAST DIRECTION GOING NORTHWEST, I FIRST SAW A LARGE FLAMING FIREBALL THAT LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE SHOOTING OFF SOMEKIND OF VERY LARGE FIREWORK, THAT WAS MY FIRST IMPRESSION; I QUICKLY REALIZED THAT THE FLAMING FIREBALL WAS MUCH LARGER & MUCH HIGHER UP AS THE FLAMES QUICKLY VANISHED, IT WAS A VERY BRIGHT CHERRY HOT LARGE BULLET SHAPED OBJECT!!! IT WENT TO DIFFERENT SHADES OF BRIGHT RED TO DULL ORANGE TO A TOTAL FADE OUT… I DO THINK THIS OBJECT WAS ALSO MAN-MADE FOR IT LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE THE MAIN TANK ON THE SPACE SHUTTLE, HOWEVER NO SPACE SHUTTLE LAUNCH WAS MADE AT THAT TIME & I HONESTLY DO NOT KNOW IF THE MAIN TANK IS RELEASED IN OUTER SPACE??? I ALSO CALLED THE NEW MEXICO STATE POLICE IN THE TIME FRAME OF ONE MINUTE AFTER THE SITING & THEY INFORMED ME TO CONTACT THE WHITE SANDS MILITARY POLICE… THE VERY NEXT DAY I DID CALL THE MILITARY POLICE AT WHITE SANDS, THEY STATED THAT A SMALL MISSILE WAS LAUNCHED AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME OR AT 1:30 A.M. HOWEVER IT WAS DIRECTLY EAST OF MY LOCATION & IT WAS NOT ANY KIND OF NEAR OBITAL MISSILE LAUNCH!!! MY MAIN ??? IS I DO NOT KNOW IF THE MAIN SHUTTLE TANK STAYS IN ORBIT FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME & IF ANY OTHER NATIONS HAVE ANYTHING THAT LARGE??? THIS SITEING WAS AROUND 2 YEARS BEFORE THE LARGE DELTA TRIANGLE CRAFT WAS SEEN BUT AT THE VERY SAME LOCATION & ADDRESS… CAN YOU PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ANY POSSIBLE EXPLANATION FOR THESE SITEING’S???
