New information about secret Dulce base to be revealed at Symposium

ANGEL FIRE, NM • AUG 30, 2010 – Compelling new information regarding the existence of a secret military base jointly operated by the U.S. government and extraterrestrials near Dulce, New Mexico will be revealed at the 2010 Paranormal Symposium and Film Festival September 9-12 in Angel Fire, NM. Dulce researchers and investigators Anthony F. Sanchez, Norio Hayakawa, and Dennis Balthaser are scheduled for an exclusive interview and panel discussion with radio host Jerry Pippin at noon on Saturday during the conference. The public is welcome to attend.

In a widely-disseminated August 28 press release, Sanchez reported he tracked down and vetted a reliable source who claims he worked at the Dulce facility. According to Sanchez, the source is a retired Air Force colonel who has proven his claims, which include his assignment to Dulce as part of a special military medical detachment. Sanchez conducted an extensive interview with the colonel, who related events surrounding a classified 1979 incident at Dulce, and revealed what he learned about the history and circumstances surrounding the harrowing 1940 Dulce Discovery event. Sanchez has included the entire interview in his new book, UFO Highway.

In March 2009, a conference debating the existence the Dulce base was widely reported in both UFO and mainstream media. The conference was hosted by Hayakawa, who was also responsible for “outing” many Area 51 activities during the 1990s. Nearly 130 people from as far away as Hawaii and New York attended the conference, including Balthaser and other high-profile UFO and exopolitical experts who presented both pro and con arguments about the rumored base. They were joined by eyewitnesses, law enforcement officers and local residents, all of whom presented credible and convincing testimony.

Rumors about the secret government facility near Dulce began in 1967 after a 29-kiloton nuclear explosive was detonated at a depth of 4222 feet near the Archuletta Mesa on the Jicarilla Apache Indian reservation at Dulce, supposedly to produce underground routes for an estimated 300 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. The venture was known as Project Gasbuggy. However, according to an August 29, 1959 report in Time Magazine, the minor amount of gas released from the explosion was not only too radioactive for use, it was worth less than the cost of the explosion. Since then, reports of cattle mutilations, UFO sightings, and mysterious illnesses in the Dulce area have been widely circulated, along with allegations of nefarious activities in a secret underground military facility at nearby Archuletta Mesa.

Old and Fortean Jemez Springs, pt 2

P8190022

We made a couple of night stops at the old cemetery.  Really, I didn’t get any ghostly feeling there.  It was a very calm place, like everyone was at peace.

On the other hand…

P8190018

This house really caught my attention.  It seemed to be abandoned and when I checked with locals that was the case.  Apparently whoever had been living there just disappeared and they have no idea what happened to that person or if the house will eventually be put up for sale.  The house was only two buildings down from our hotel.  One night we sat on the porch there (there are chairs and a table out) at 2 am.  This was before I asked about the house and Britton thought that someone must live there because he could feel someone watching us from inside, I had the same feeling.  It was a very spooky place, but not really in a bad way.  I felt no danger sitting there.  The photo I took also had lots of orbs in it.  You can see the full sized pic here.

That is Soda Dam, which is just esoteric looking, whether or not there are any spirits hanging around.

“MAX” THE CRYSTAL SKULL IN ALBUQUERQUE

ATT00001MAX THE ANCIENT CRYSTAL SKULL is considered by many to be one of the rarest artifacts ever found. Estimated to be at least 10,000 years old, MAX was found in a tomb in Guatemala in the 1920’s and used by Mayan priests for healing and prayer. The skull was then given to Norbu Chen, a powerful healer of the Tibetan sect of Red Hat Lamas, who brought Max to the US. Max the crystal skull is known internationally. He has been presented in several documentaries and television shows worldwide, including the SciFi channel’s “Indiana Jones and the Ultimate Quest” and on the History Channel’s “Mysteries of the Crystal Skulls”. He has also been featured in the news, many newspaper articles, books, and videos worldwide.

Max, along with other ancient crystal skulls, remains a mystery with regard to its origin. Many who have been in the presence of these crystal skulls feel that they are from other dimensional realms and perhaps were used by ancient civilizations (including Atlantis and Lemuria) to sustain contact between Star Beings and the human race. Others who have touched the skulls have had a range of experiences including receiving instantaneous healing, information, visions of other worlds and the experience of unusual sounds and expanded intuitive abilities. To this day, MAX is used as a tool for awakening consciousness and accelerating healing and growth on all levels.

Reza’s “manifesto”

Why isn’t this “manifesto” being released to the public?  The police and/or DA don’t need it, Reza killed himself, nobody to prosecute.  Totally out of curiosity, but I would like to be able to read it.

Search warrants offer look at shooter’s state of mind

Search warrants released Friday afternoon also shed light on gunman Reza’s mental state before police say he went on a deadly rampage at Emcore Monday.

According to the search warrants, Reza’s own nephew told police Reza sounded “crazy.”

Erik Placencia told police his uncle “talked about Emcore planting chips in him and that employees could talk to him and hear his thoughts.”  The nephew also reportedly told officers Reza refused to get help saying he was not crazy, and the technology was making him do the things he was doing.

Reza was a former Emcore employee.

According to the search warrants, Reza also reportedly told his nephew people at work were “watching females in the bathroom,” and “he was fired from Emcore to keep him from ‘taking them down.’”

We wanted to retrace our steps and see if that happened again as were headed west it reappeared so far in the east to where i believe was as far as gallup. it would appear bright then dim then have ovals around it and so many different appearances. I still have the chills. What was this. It was so short we never even thought or got the chance to get pictures.

Events

Thanks to Iggy, I have finally realized the full and very useful concept of pages.  It means I can list events well in advanced and have them always in the sidebar on the main NM LOWFI page where they are easy to find!

So in the top of the sidebar (and below the banner) you will find Robert Hastings fine articles (hopefully with some new articles soon), along with a section just for events.  I will be updating that not only with conferences, but also meetings of the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho UFO and Paranormal forum, the Los Lunas Dowser meetings and ASPE events — pretty much anything fortean related that is going on.  Aside from NM events, you will probably in the future also find events happening in Colorado.  Since there is no official Colorado LOWFI page yet and I kind of consider Colorado my second home I will post events happening there too — Colorado is as close to Albuquerque as the southern portion of NM, so why not?  I may also start posting a few CO news items in the blog as well.

Albuquerque/Rio Rancho UFO/Paranormal forum

Tomorrow (sat, 5/22) from 12:30 to 2:30.  You can find out more in the events section of sidebar.

I will likely not be at the meeting because that time is quite early for me, but I will try to meet up with everyone at Applebees following the meeting.

Paranormal Experience at Kelly

kellychurch380thumb
Here’s the strange experience I had while visiting the Kelly ghost town this past Monday: Forty minutes had passed. I assumed I was on borrowed time when it came to being completely isolated at the mine’s headframe structure and gaping mouth. With the morning growing late, inevitably, some other tourist/hiker would arrive, destroying the serenity and interrupting the flow of my ongoing EVP and photo sessions. While Kelly is at least three or four miles from the nearest house, and is neatly tucked into the mountainside, it does draw an occasional visitor or two over the course of a few hours.

However, thanks to the elevation and utter silence around the entire location, whether at the mine, cemetery or in “town,” you’re always alerted when someone has arrived. Up to that point, I hadn’t heard a single vehicle driving around or voices of any kind that would indicate I had company down below. But feeling a combination of luck and greed to have had the mine all to myself for so long, I decided to start back towards the old abandoned foundations in town.
