Celtic Traditions and the Paranormal
MARCH 20, 2010 • 2 – 4 PM
Angel Fire Community Center • 71 Valley Road • Angel Fire, NM (CLICK FOR MAP)
There’s a lot more to Ireland than St. Patrick . . .
Sara Corry trained through the England-based Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids (http://www.druidry.org/). She completed her formal training in 2004 and has been tutoring/mentoring Bardic and Ovate students since then. She also helps coordinate the tutoring/mentoring program of the Order, supporting people who participate in the course. Corry currently lives in Albuquerque.
Her presentation will examine Celtic beliefs about beings that inhabit the Otherworld, the world that exists “beyond the veil,” looking at what Irish and Welsh mythology tells about the Faery folk, where they originated, and where they dwell now. The presentation will also examine the role of nature spirits, elementals, dragons, leprechauns, flower fairies, and numerous other beings that for most of us are unseen, but that many of us accept as “real” and open to interacting with us. The spiritual work of current practitioners with these entities today will also be discussed; and stories from the British Isles about modern-day beliefs regarding Otherworld beings will also be perused, with Corry sharing some personal observations from her spiritual practice and experience.

The Meeting
We had a really great meeting yesterday! The witness from Dulce (who wishes to remain anonymous with his evidence until he retires in a couple years) was super interesting. He had slides of photos, he knew Paul Bennewitz and has been involved in the mysteries there since the 1970’s. I wish I could say more, but he is writing a book that will hopefully be available in a couples years after he retires and then everyone will know his story.
As always it was nice to see Norio, Mike and Priscilla Sister Wolf. There were several new people too, since I was late I missed getting their names, but at least I got there in time to hear all of the Dulce speaker. Our group keeps growing and I meant to count the number of people, but I forgot. At least 20 though. After the meeting a bunch of us went to Applebees and chatted away about various ufo/fortean topics for at least a couple hours.
So it was a fun UFOish day for me!
If you missed this month, remember, we normally meet once a month so you can join us next time around.
Albuquerque/Rio Rancho UFO and Paranormal Forum Meeting
We will be meeting on Saturday, March 6th at The Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center (room 4) in Albuquerque from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Assuming I don’t get snowed in this time – I will be there, but I will likely be late. :)
You can join our facebook group here.
Vote for me!
Once again, my site, The Debris Field, is up for a Zorgy Award. As always, I am up against The Daily Grail and The Anomalist, which I can’t beat, but I would like to retain my 3rd place standing. So if you would throw your vote for best news site my way, I would really appreciate it. I would also appreciate any votes for my friend Tim Binnall and his BoA: Audio as top podcast. Of course, since I now blog at UFO Mystic, I wouldn’t mind any votes for that as top paranormal site either. Thanks!
When bigfoot gets in your head — telepathy, dreams, & channelers, oh my!
During a recent radio show named “Native America Calling,” callers discussed their encounters with bigfoot. A man named Blaine spoke about seeing a bigfoot in near Gallup New Mexico as he rode his mountain bike down a mountain, and the strange way it affected his mind.
As I was coming down, I kinda felt a fear, like you know you’re gonna step on a snake and you look down and sure enough there’s a snake. This fear was overwhelming. I came around the corner, and it was by a stream. Deeply forested, with aspen trees. I was riding pretty fast because it was a steep slope. I looked out of the corner of my eye and I saw something. I hit my brakes, I just stopped. I had to look. I looked at it, and it was black, and it had a grayish face. The eyes were kind of a brownish. I was probably like 30 feet away from it. I had to keep looking. I looked at it and I looked at it, and it was looking right at me. It had positioned itself over a huge pine log, probably about six feet around. He had his hands on top of it like he was resting. He was on four legs, he just looked like [the size of] a big cow. I just stared at him, we looked at each other for like five minutes. And as I was looking at him, and we were just looking at one another, I started to experience this thing inside my head, like, it got inside my head, like it was saying.. it had a very powerful mind, and it was making me think that I wasn’t looking at what I was looking at. It was putting into my mind that I wasn’t looking at what I was looking at. That’s the best way I can explain it. It’s like a [medicine] man, you know, that has a really powerful mind. It can change your mind into thinking that you’re not seeing it. I looked at it and it finally stood up. After it stood up I got on my bike and started to ride off.
That is the NM portion of the article, but there is much more interesting stuff in the article -

REMOTE VIEWING: How to Build a Molotov Cocktail in The Aether
FEBRUARY 20, 2010 • 2 – 4 PM
Angel Fire Community Center • 71 Valley Road • Angel Fire, NM
Pamela “Red” Hughes will present a program with information about the covert Military-Intelligence applications of psychic abilities and their connection to the so-called Shadow Government’s global manipulation and quest for power and control of the planet’s resources.
Hughes will touch on subjects ranging from the co-opting of children for exploitation in this agenda along with her own personal experiences while working as an intelligence asset for various agencies through a civilian contractor involved with both the military and the intelligence community – relating all of the above from first-person knowledge.
Hughes will also show a remote-viewing demonstration video and discuss how remote viewing can be learned and mastered and potentially be used for applications in defense of humanity and the planet at large.
A Q&A session with the audience will follow the presentation.

Pamela “Red” Hughes was born in San Jose, California and grew up in San Francisco in the early sixties and seventies. Gifted from a very early age she with both analytical and intuitive abilities, she was identified early on as a subject for psychic research at Stanford Research Institute in Palo Alto California (now Stanford Research international; S.R.I.) and was also “recruited” into service as a subject for D.A.R.P.A. (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) programs involving cutting-edge novel approaches to integrating human consciousness with co-opted advanced technology for applications in the Military-Intelligence gathering apparatus…along with more aggressive “in-field” applications. Hughes now gives talks and teaches full remote viewing trainings in Taos, New Mexico.
Strange hum reported northwest of Dulce, New Mexico
As I remember from coast to coast the other night, this is the area where Dr. David Anderson is doing his time travel experiments. Connection?

Albuquerque UFO and Paranormal Forum
Thanks to the snow yesterday I did not make the meeting. :( I was awake and everything and then I realized that I could probably make it out of the driveway and down the hill, but probably not back up the hill when I returned. It was also still snowing then, so I went back to sleep.
Apparently in my absence they changed the name from MJ-7 to Albuquerque UFO and Paranormal Forum. Personally, a little too boring for me, but I suppose it is more descriptive. :)
Aside from the name change, it sounds as though there may be some interesting things coming up. I will hold off on mentioning those until they are more definite, especially since I wasn’t at the meeting so I am not sure what is going on.
Very boring day here. I hate being trapped by snow when I wasn’t expecting it and didn’t plan ahead. The weatherman the previous evening made it sound like it would be a very light snow, certainly nothing that would trap me here for the day. I should have known better, normally I prepare even if it is only suppose to be light snow – because they are often wrong. Can’t wait for Spring to arrive!
