For those who may be considering coming in from out of state to attend the Wake Up Now! Conference, you may wonder what else is nearby to do while here, so here are a few suggestions:

Coronado State Monument:  Literally only 5 minutes away.  First settled by the Tiwa’s around AD 1300.  The ruins also contain one of the best examples of Pre-Columbian mural art in the US.

Petroglyph National Monument: About 15 miles away. “Petroglyph National Monument protects a variety of cultural and natural resources including volcanoes, archeological sites and an estimated 24,000 carved images.”

Sandia Tram: About 20 minutes away. “A trip on the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway transports you above deep canyons and breathtaking terrain a distance of 2.7 miles.”  I also recommend Sandiago’s (at the bottom of tram) for lunch/dinner or if you want a great, but expensive dinner, High Finance, at the top of the tram.

I will probably come up with more to add to this list, but those are the things that came to mind right away as being nearby and interesting.

September 12, Gary Plapp will be speaking about Crop Circles at the Los Lunas Dowsers meeting.  You can find out the time and place at the website.

They appear at night, complex designs mysteriously imprinted on fields of almost ripened grain. Nobody knows how they got there, or why. They leave the grain stalks in swirls, virtually undamaged.  They exhibit mathematical precision. They demonstrate principles of geometry. They portray ancient religious symbols.

Since the 1980s, some 10,000 crop circles have appeared, seemingly by magic, in England and 25 other countries. Each year the count grows, and the designs get more intricate, even fantastic. Governments tell us they’re hoaxes, but the evidence shows that most are not.

Gary will discuss the very latest crop circles in England and try to answer some of the mysteries as to their creation and meaning. Experiential exercises will also be conducted to ascertain their meaning on other (holographic) levels.

Judith Jubb is a clairvoyant since birth, had the opportunity of studying under Benjamin Bibb in the 1980’s, focusing on remote healing. Her course ‘Enhancing Intuition’ was offered for three years at the Seattle Community Colleges. She has worked with Native American Shamans for social tolerance and spiritual balancing. Her abilities are widely known and been tested in laboratories at the University of Washington (1996) and Pennsylvania State University (2005 and 2007).
