Back in ’07 — while attending the Roswell 60the anniversary festival — I attended a lecture by Greg Bishop on his book Project Beta regarding the Paul Bennewitz affair, a story legendary in the kooky annals of UFO lore. At some point during Greg’s lecture, he started itching his nose incessantly; a nose itching outburst that went on for several minutes.

Now, I must mention that this was the only time I’ve ever witnessed Mr. Bishop go on such a nose related itching-fest, as Greg and I are good friends, and I’ve spent a lot of time in his presence over the years. After said lecture, I asked Greg what the deal was with his nose, and he seemed somewhat perplexed, but mentioned the same thing happened to him a couple years earlier at the International UFO Congress in Laughlin, Nevada when he was delivering the exact same lecture on Project Beta, Paul Bennewitz and certain government spooks that go bump in the night. After his lecture there some gone gal approached Greg and informed him that his nose itching debacle was on account of an implant (inserted by aliens, one would presume) into (you guessed it) his nose.

Said gone gal went on to document her astounding psychic findings in the form of the drawing (pictured below) which she gave to Greg (replete with commentary) after informing him of his aforementioned alleged alien nose implant that got activated whenever he told the truth about the UFO mystery, such as in his lectures on Bennewitz delivered at both Roswell and Laughlin, respectively.

It should be mentioned that Greg delivered another lecture at Roswell that same year (2008) about the UFO Contactees as an Art Movement with no similar nose related trauma. I’ve also seen him deliver other lectures over the years but never with similar nose itching episodes occurring, so we’re talking about two events which transpired over the course of a couple of years of one another, both of which were seemingly activated by his Project Beta presentation.
