Over the years I’ve come across several references to Texas based parapsychology organizations. One of those that has intrigued me is the CTPA founded by psychic Joe Nicols. I don’t know too much about the organization but here is some info on Mr. Nicols:
Joe Nicols has studied palmistry and psychic development since 1966. He has a been a full-time professional psychic since 1987.
He founded the Central Texas Parapsychology Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering understanding of psychic phenomena. He was selected as “Best Psychic in Austin” by the Austin Chronicle’s Reader’s Poll, has appeared on radio and television, and has conducted seminars and workshops in numerous cities throughout the United States and overseas, including Hong Kong and India. He was featured on the University of Texas at Austin’s Informal Classes web page for November, 2003.
Joe does personal consultations in which he answers questions concerning career, love life, finances, health, geographic moves, travel, psychic abilities and making life decisions, and he has done telephone readings for private sessions and over the radio. He teaches workshops and seminars which include, ” Psychic Development”, ” Psychic Healing”, “Palmistry”, “Dream and Symbol Interpretations”, “Discovering Past Lives”, “Reading the Regular Deck of Playing Cards”, “Manifesting a Better Love Life”, “Manifesting a More Fulfilling Career”, and “Manifesting Financial Abundance”, He has also trained a number of individuals who are now working as professional psychics.
Joe has produced the guided visualization cassette tape and CD, Psychic Development:Connecting With Your Spirit Guides, to assist people in learning to increase their own abilities to receive psychic help. In addition, he has published the book, How to Make a Good Living As A Professional Psychic, which is a practical manual on how to build a metaphysical hobby into a part-time or full-time business.
Joe brings a varied personal background to his work, including having been an Army officer and having lived and worked in Australia. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas as Austin, and has six years of clinical experience and working in hospital and rehabilitation settings.
