Huge triangel low over Houston

Hat tip to Whitley Strieber’s UNKNOWN COUNTRY and before it, Roger Marsh’s Examiner blog:

This very typical witness account of an enormous triangle reminds us that the UFO phenomenon is constant and ongoing. There is no reason to doubt the witness. Unfortunately, there were no images made, and as the sighting took place at around three in the morning, there is also no corroboration.

Did you see it, or something else you can’t explain? Let us know, we’re interested! Click here to file a report.

20+ Suddenly Fall Ill at Texas Football Game; Hazmat Called

My favorite forum (which happens to be based out of Canada) alerted me to these strange recent incidents of “Mystery Smells” … so thank you “Gouda”!!! [bolded items are his notations]

carbon-mono-death-smellThere have been at least 2 other “Mystery Smell” incidents in Austin the past 10-12 years that I am aware of … one happened when cops pulled over a “suspicious” car and got faint from fumes when they opened the trunk – news reports insinuated the driver or car owner might’ve been a terrorist. There was another incident (before the car stop one I believe) wherein the local DMV building was evacuated, I think, due to mystery fumes. This may have been one of the incidents at which Alex Jones disrupted local live news broadcasts screaming it was a fake drill.

More than 20 Fall Ill at Football Game

Updated: Friday, 04 Nov 2011, 10:51 PM CDT

HOUSTON – More than 20 people suddenly fell ill during a football game in southeast Houston Friday night.

The Houston Fire Department dispatched emergency crews to Barnett Stadium in the 6800 block of Fairway.

During the second-half of the game, Austin High School band and dance members suddenly fell ill.

The Houston Independent School District says the students began suffering from severe nausea, dizziness, vomiting and heart palpitations.

A student told FOX 26 News he began to smell something funny when he saw his sister lose consciousness.

Students were still being treated by the end of the 9 p.m. newscast. A hazmat team had set up a decontamination unit in the vicinity.

Houston Police are trying to determine the cause of the illnesses.

Serious Health scare in Houston

November 5, 2011

Authorities in Houston are still searching for answers after an area high school football game was called off early after nearly two dozen fans were hospitalized after suddenly becoming sick in the stands of Barnett Stadium on Friday night.

During the second half of the game between Austin (Texas) High and Houston (Texas) Yates, many members of the band and dance team from Austin started suffering from nausea, vomiting and dizziness and began collapsing in the stands, according to numerous media reports.

Officials feared they had been exposed to some type of biohazard and called hazmet teams to the scene but no traces of gases or chemical agents were found.

Nevertheless, the stadium was cleared and the game was called with Yates leading, 47-14.

The students, many complaining of nausea, were sent for more medical evaluation.

“We ended up with 22 students being transported to five different hospitals,” Houston Fire Department assistant chief David Almaguer told the local FOX affiliate, KTRK-TV.

Food poisoning of some sort remains a possibility for the incident, but initially appears unlikely as those who were sick ate different meals at different times in different places before the game.

“The kids all ate at different places, some of them ate at different times … but they did have something in their stomachs,” Emergency Medical Services doctor David Purse told the station. “At this point, it remains a little unclear what set it off.”

Officials, however, aren’t taking any chances. A football game scheduled to be played there on Saturday afternoon has been moved to another location.

Nearly 2 dozen fall ill at HS football game at Barnett Stadium

HOUSTON (KTRK) / Saturday, November 05, 2011 (…)

A doctor from the EMS service said they were interviewing patients late Friday to try to find any links.

“The kids all ate at different places, some of them ate at different times… but they did have something in their stomachs. At this point, it remains a little unclear what set it off,” Dr. David Purse said Friday. “It’s still a mystery right now.”

Parents said Saturday that doctors discovered high levels of toxins in their children’s blood. For Galvan, the diagnosis was chemical inhalation. He was treated for carbon monoxide poisoning. His discharge papers from the hopital state that he suffered chemical inhalation and should follow up with a physician next week.

Galvan’s father, who is also a band chaperone, says the hospital told him there were likely high levels of carbon monoxide in the air. He added that HISD has agreed to cover their medical costs.

The mystery behind what caused this incident remains, and HISD police are still investigating.

HFD spokesperson Patrick Trahan said Saturday that their investigation will pick back up on Monday after they have results from the doctors of all students involved.

UFOs on the Attack over Houston?

Remember that near-miss between a missile and an airplane over Houston last year? And the year before that?

My latest post over at ANOMALY Magazine

Will There Be Another Near Miss With a UFO/Missile Over Houston?

John Etgen speaks with KHOU news on report of FAA rocket incident in Houston.

“There will be another such loud report!”
- Carl Gustav Jung to Sigmund Freud

“Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action.”
Auric Goldfinger

The other day a friend was telling me about a new book by local author James Hynes titled NEXT. My friend described part of the book’s premise, that of the main character Kevin Quinn worrying about being shot-out-of-the-sky by a shoulder mounted rocket while coming in for a landing in Austin, Texas:

In the first paragraph of “Next,” he imagines terrorists “kneeling in the bed of a dinged-up pickup truck with Texas plates, or crouching on the springy backseat of a rented convertible on a dirt track just outside the airport fence.” He envisions a Stinger launching “toward the sleek underbelly of Kevin’s plane, a Pringles can with wings, packed full of defenseless Pringles.”

I joked with my friend that, since the character was flying into the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and not the Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, he had nothing to worry about. I then proceeded to explain that there have been two very similar near-miss aviation events, almost exactly one year apart, where the unidentified flying object was described as like a missile or rocket, reported by commercial pilots and corroborated by witnesses on the ground. I suddenly realized we were now within the same time-frame as those two past events.

“It was the same situation, almost identical,” DeFoor said. “The FBI are pulling their records on that one. It was roughly in the same area almost a year ago.”

Both events involved “Continental Airlines,” though the second incident was actually with an ExpressJet plane that “flies regional routes for Continental Airlines as Continental Express.”

In the case of the 2008 event:

Continental Flight 1544 was flying at 5,000 feet about 11 miles east of Bush Intercontinental Airport after takeoff Monday morning when the pilot called the tower to report an object headed toward the plane. The pilot described seeing a fast moving object with a thick smoke trail nearing his airspace.

The 2009 incident also occurred shortly after take-off from Bush Intercontinental Airport, over the southern edge of Liberty County but with the plane at 13,000 feet on its way to Greenville, South Carolina. The 2008 event involved a commercial flight headed to Cleveland, Ohio.

While the first incident was at a relatively low altitude, compared to the second event a year later, the second closer-call was witnessed by two Hardin High School students who were interviewed by the local Sheriff’s department.

Interestingly enough … while I was writing the above article I saw this UFO news headline:

TX, May 4, 2010 – Sphere intercepts Southwest Jet over Downtown Houston. MUFON Case # 23244.

Had just picked up my wife from work at Produce Row.It was her,our son and I cutting thru Downtown Houston to hit the H.O.V. lane to I-45 North when I noticed a sphere cutting across the sky.

At that time,I told my wife and son to look at it and when they spotted it a Southwest Jet came in view.

The sphere picked up speed and was on a collision course with the jet.

As we drove by the Spaghetti Warehouse to take a right, our view was blocked. When we made our turn and got a look at the area where the jet and sphere were, the jet was gone!

I don’t know what happened to the jet,but in that span of about 3 seconds it was gone. But the sphere was just sitting there spinning. After we got on the H.O.V. lane we went under I-10 and as we come to the other side of I-10 it was gone.Just wondering if anyone else had seen it.
