Solve Your Favorite Conspiracy in Just One Afternoon With Synchronicity™!

I just got back from the 2009 ConspiracyCon convention in Santa Clara, CA where I shared a table with my comrade, gonzo author Adam Gorightly… A quick history search on Santa Clara reveals that it was once a major Indian settlement with many mounds. In fact, the Marriott convention center hosting ConspiracyCon is most likely located over leveled mounds; this has been the pattern with certain other malls and convention centers we have researched. These mound areas are thought to be old sacred spots where visions of different entities have occurred. For instance, a recent article about the Jeffers Mound in Columbus, OH reveals that earthworks were used by the Indians in battles against “supernatural monsters.” And, according to Oxford scholar Sal Trento in his Field Guide to Mysterious Places of the Pacific Coast, the top of the Grand Mound in Seattle has the lowest possible magnetic field reading on Earth. Amazingly, the bottom of the Grand Mound has a high magnetic reading. Perhaps it is this wide magnetic variation that causes entities to be seen. Such geomagnetic hotspots may also give rise to rare melanistic variations of otherwise normal animals, such as the black squirrel seen by myself and Adam.

Allow me to add a rather shocking conclusion to Adam’s excellent write-up of our time in Santa Clara. If you have not already read his article here at LOWFI, please read it before continuing. It gives a good run-down of our run-ins with the doppelganger, black squirrel, and Man in White:

http://forteanswest.com/wordpress-mu/norcallowfi/2009/06/15/black-squirrels-doppelgangers-at-conspiracy-con-9/

I must clarify that Adam is still on the fence about this next theory. I must take sole responsibility for it. Regardless of whether or not the theory turns out to be correct, the events of that weekend show that synchronicity can allow one to “solve” a mystery in just a couple of hours. In fact, I joked with Adam early on that we could solve “the mystery of Mt. Diablo” in “two to four hours” using nothing but ordinary synchronicity. Looking back on events, it is true that the main synchronicities – the sighting of Adam’s doppelganger, the black squirrel, and the Man in White – all happened within 1-2 hours. Whether or not they have anything to do with Mt. Diablo is still an open question, however.

Just prior to leaving for the convention, I had been looking at some footage of the “Hughes film” of the JFK assassination. The folks at the JFK Lancer site were trying to figure out the identity of the guy dressed like Lee Harvey Oswald in Dealey Plaza right after the shooting. He walked towards the boxcars and inexplicably turned around – as if there was nothing more to see – just as everyone else was frantically looking for the shooters. I noted that the “bald spot” on top of his head seemed unsual, as if it may have been shaven out to make him look more like Oswald. His movements seemed unusually controlled, or slightly disinterested, for such a tragic moment.

Now as Adam mentioned, right before we saw the black squirrel and managed to photograph it as it ran away, Adam had discovered that his dreaded doppelganger had returned. “Electronic countermeasures” expert Richard Tolces had approached Adam when Adam had first walked in, wanting to know if Adam “had the books.” Tolces was wanting to continue a conversation he had begun minutes before with Adam’s doppelganger! I began to ponder why Adam’s doppelganger had appeared. Neither Adam nor I had any idea at this time that someone – a Man in White – had been watching us when we photographed the anomalous black squirrel…

Since the JFK assassination came up almost immediately at the convention – with the newly released photo of the “Girl Without Polka-Dotted Dress” – I began thinking about Oswald’s doppelgangers. Interestingly, Adam had already written a book on one of Oswald’s doppelgangers, Kerry Thornley. Thornley, who looked like Oswald and served with him in the Marines, had stated that he felt he was the “backup” patsy in case Oswald fell through. Thornley stated that he was repeatedly interviewed prior to the assassination – about how to kill Kennedy – by a shadowy agent he believed to be E. Howard Hunt of Watergate fame. Thornley admits that he told Hunt to go “frame a Communist” just a week or so before the assassination. Thornley even speculated that he might have been mind-controlled at some point by Hunt or someone under Hunt’s employ. Hunt is now thought to have been one of the “three tramps” arrested in the boxcars at Dealey Plaza.

As Adam and I compared images of the man in the Hughes film and Thornley, it was clear that they looked alike but that there might be differences in the hairline. However if my initial suspicion about the Hughes man is correct, his hairline could have been altered to look more like Oswald’s. And while Thornley is now thought to have been a “counterculture” figure, he was shockingly unabashed in stating publicly – such as in his Feb. 1992 interview on A Current Affair with Sondra London – that he hated Kennedy and was glad he was killed. Thornley was deposed at length by the Warren Commission, in fact, about his relationship with Oswald. However the questioning only seemed to focus on their time in the Marines. No one seemed to ask Thornley where he was on Nov. 22, 1963.

The most damning evidence against Thornley, of course, is the fact that he wrote a book based on Oswald, The Idle Warriors, prior to the assassination. This book was the template used by the media to build their “communist” profile of Oswald. Articles about Thornley’s book came out in newspapers immediately after the shooting of Oswald. One such article, “Wrote Book on Oswald, Orleans Resident Reveals: Slain Suspect Real Loser,” came out on the front page of The New Orleans States-Item on Nov. 27th, 1963. The States-Item had the largest circulation in Louisiana at that time.

Thornley also wrote a second book about Oswald, called Oswald. The book has a nice comment about Oswald on the cover: “I have never personally known an individual more motivated by a genuine concern for the human race than Lee Harvey Oswald.” Still, this obvious gesture seems to be a misdirection of sorts, as the book itself toes the government line about the assassination. There really isn’t a lot of sympathy for Oswald. One does learn by reading it, however, that there were four Oswald lookalikes in Oswald’s Macs-9 unit in 1960. Was the assassination being planned at least three years prior?

The only question is whether or not Thornley was the mind-controlled patsy he claimed, or if he was some sort of planner of the assassination. One has to wonder why E. Howard Hunt would continually need to get Thornley’s thoughts on how to kill Kennedy, since Hunt would have had access to lots of other agents with more experience in such things. If the man in the Hughes film were Thornley – or another of the Oswald lookalikes from Thornley’s unit – it would explain why he turned around after getting to the boxcars: he had either received a signal from Hunt, or had – to his relief – found that Hunt and the other two tramps were comfortably out of sight.

The Oswald double in profile. Could this man be Kerry Thornley?

The Oswald "double" in profile. Could this man be Kerry Thornley? Neal Cassady? Indrid Cold?

This same Oswald lookalike from the Hughes film was probably the same one seen by Roger Craig getting into the Nash Rambler – the Rambler probably owned by Oswald’s landlords, the Paines, and later owned by UT Austin Spanish professor George Wing. This Rambler may have continued on to a meeting with Officer Tippit, who was essentially JFK’s doppelganger. The men in the Rambler may have killed Tippit and hid out in the abandoned church nearby – perhaps a haunt of David Ferrie’s “Wandering Bishops” – while Oswald’s double was dropped off at the theatre to cause a ruckus just prior to the real Oswald’s arrival. It has been rumored that Tippit’s body was later used in some of the faked JFK autopsy photos.

As I was pondering all of this, I did a quick search on Roger Tolces, the researcher who had seen Adam’s doppelganger. It seems that Tolces worked for Howard Hughes for a time. This second mention of the “Hughes” name cemented a bit more my suspicion that Kerry Thornley, or someone from his Marine unit, was in Dealey Plaza. Perhaps the Thornley file should be reopened. It cannot be mere coincidence that he wrote a book about Oswald prior to the assassination. As we know, the “coverup always proves the crime,” and Thornley’s literary work – as well as his personal meetings with the CIA’s Hunt (or whoever he was) – certainly helped create, directly or indirectly, one of the biggest coverups we have ever seen.

Oddly, Thornley was quoted as saying, as far back as the early 1970s, that “UFOs emanate from underneath the ground in West Virginia.” While this kind of idea is popular today, it was very obscure then. At that time, The Mothman Prophecies had not even been written. The only book available about West Virginia UFOs was The Silver Bridge by Gray Barker. Allen Greenfield, a good friend of Thornley’s in later life, happened to write the introduction to The Silver Bridge. Perhaps this is how Thornley knew about the theory of UFOs in WV. It could also be that Thornley was associated in some fashion with the Nazi “International,” whom Mae Brussell blamed for most of the assassinations. If Thornley were to have gotten this UFO info from the International, it would add weight to my latest wacky theory that Nazi saucers and scalar weapons were being built in Institute, WV (atop leveled Indian mounds!) during the Cold War and during Mothman – hence the many sightings, abductions, and Men in Black warning residents to keep quiet.

The Mothman era was a time of major chemical strikes in the valley. According to my father, he knew the guys who were threatening to blow up the Carbide plant. When one considers that Carbide was more or less owned by elements of the Nazi International, one can see that using terror – real or implied – would have been an easy and natural choice for them. They already had lots of experience with it in Europe and during the labor battles of the early 20th Century. If such threats were merely a ploy by the company to whip up anti-union sentiment, that means my father knew who the company’s agent-provocateurs were – a  different kind of animal. These provocateurs were most likely spies associated with Defense Intelligence, since most of the chemical plants are on Naval Reservation land. Fred Crisman of the Maury Island Affair was one of these types of agents. Crisman’s background in Arkansas may connect him to Indrid Cold of Mothman fame. Keep in mind that it was Greenfield and Gray Barker who first discovered that Crisman had testified before the New Orleans Grand Jury looking into the JFK assassination…

Another piece of info that came up at ConCon 2009 was the rumor that Mae Brussell was killed by a possible JFK conspirator who placed a cancer-causing needle in her seat cushion. This is reminiscent of my father’s situation in that he first developed cancer on the lower inside of his lap – an odd place. I later felt a jab in my own leg while driving his car a few years later. I was hospitalized around that time for what they thought was leukemia. It was never satisfactorily diagnosed… I eventually recovered from what was an extremely high white-bloodcell count. Was this sickness caused by  the leftover needle that initially gave my father cancer? Interestingly, there was a well-publicized UFO flap around that time in WV (1978), right when I experienced a dream that seemed to result in a healing of the white-bloodcell issue. Interestingly, the first car of my own, a blue VW Beetle, was stolen from my house in Mound in the early 1980s, right about the same time it was revealed on TV that Charles Manson and Sara Jane Moore had once dated. The beetle was actually recovered in front of Moore’s house on Woodward Drive,  less than half a mile away. Was this some sort of Masonic symbology? The beetle was sold to a neighbor who turned it into a dune buggy… Strangely my next car, a red Polara that had been owned by a friend of mine who dated Linda Blair of The Exorcist, had a major electrical fire the day after I sold it… Amazingly, a blue VW beetle with WV plates was seen in May 1968 - not long after the collapse of the Silver Bridge in Pt. Pleasant - by George Smyth, a noted UFO researcher in NYC. The beetle contained three men who looked like John Keel, Gray Barker, and Jim Moseley. However, they were not Keel, Barker, and Moseley; they were impersonators. The beetle had been noticed in other NY and NJ neighborhoods where UFO investigators were being harassed and shot at with handheld rayguns.

A beige beetle, similar to the one my dad drove, was seen early in 1968 on Woodward Drive. The man driving it was supposedly an FBI agent investigating the car bombing of Harriet Plumbrook’s dad, who worked on the NSA’s first Echelon listening post, Sugar Grove, in the mountains of WV. Perhaps my father, through his association with Harriet’s dad, had figured out that the Nazi International was involved in Sugar Grove. The satellite, missile, and submarine command capabilities at Sugar Grove were essential for the globalization of capital and for extending NATO power. The concurrent rise of the Internet and FISA eavesdropping being performed at Sugar Grove is no accident. Suicided astronomer Morris K. Jessup happened to be investigating the early defense satellite system when he was murdered in 1959. The first complete satellite system was scheduled to go online in Jan. 1968, just two weeks after the Silver Bridge collapse. Was the bridge collapse engineered in order to keep people out of Pt. Pleasant for a time? Was it brought down – wittingly or unwittingly – by the same ultrasonic “Bell” device supposedly used by the Nazi International in the downing of several planes in the 1970s?

Was Indrid Cold's beetle smashed, causing him to use his spaceship instead?

Was Indrid Cold's beetle smashed, causing him to use his spaceship instead?

Interestingly, a 1978 article about the Indrid Cold affair in Official UFO Magazine showed a picture of a beige VW beetle that had been hit by a truck the same night that Woody Derenberger first met Indrid Cold near Parkersburg, WV. The collision occurred just two miles from where Cold’s “spaceship” landed, apparently caused by the truck driver seeing a UFO. Since Team Cold was later known to drive a VW bug, one wonders what was going on that night. It wouldn’t be the first time someone was rammed by a truck in the Mothman story. Strangely, the license plate of the beetle crushed by the truck is whited out in the article, with no explanation given as to whose car it was. Also a photo of someone connected to the case appears, with no indication of who it is – as if the magazine was trying to reveal something without getting into legal trouble.

It now seems possible that my father, who was originally from NY, was killed in a fashion very similar to Mae Brussell, perhaps for knowing these (now) obvious facts: that there was a Nazi International after the war; that the owners of major U.S. petrochemical companies were tied into the International, and that the International itself was spreading rumors of, and at times actually committing, terror and sabotage. It was not the workers who were threatening sabotage. Why would the workers pollute their own homes, families, and livelihoods with toxic waste? They wouldn’t… Things weren’t that desperate. It had to be those who lived in other areas.

It also seems that my father may have been privy to the fact that Nazi saucers were being developed at Carbide, since the first thing out of his mouth after I told him I had just seen an unknown thing flying above our car was: “the damn Government!” As one might expect, it was Mae Brussell who first voiced renewed concerns – in the late 1970s after UFOs had taken a hiatus from public imagination – that Nazis were behind the UFO abduction phenomenon. She made it clear, as others like Keel did, that there was some sort of cyclical program in place to make people believe in ETs. And as one can see from today’s popular conferences, the ETs have invaded the space formerly reserved for “conspiracy” theorists working on political and conspiratorial angles of greater import. One can see that “ETs” are being used to distract otherwise intelligent people from seeing beneath the veil.

Witness to UFOs, MIBs, and Mothman

The following witness testimony was sent to me on audiotape by Tim Beckley, who was recently interviewed for a segment about the Men in Black on the TV show UFO Hunters. It has been transcribed for your blogging pleasure. It is a most disturbing account by a female government employee who was harassed for possibly knowing something about UFOs – the same thing for which my own family was seemingly targeted. Interestingly, this woman’s abduction occurred the same year my father died after being jabbed in the middle of the night with a needle. During her initial experience, she describes a bat-like entity “behind” the UFO which, to us today, sounds like Mothman. This account bolsters my theory that the “Oriental” MIB may be different from other MIB (like the “Greek” ones who invaded Pt. Pleasant). In this account, note that the Oriental MIB merely warned her that she might be targeted; he may have had no part in her abduction, and in fact may have been working for a group opposed to her abductors. Tibetan lamas who claim to turn into Garudas usually only do so in order to help people. It is possible that the FBI or CIA got ahold of, or trained, agents who could also perform such shapeshifting, although it is more likely that they were simply using a synthetic form of the UFO abduction phenomena for their own purposes (mind control, etc.), which raised the ire of beneficent spiritual forces. This federal employee may have known, from her work as an FBI typist, that UFOs were being used as a covert op, thus resulting in her abduction and subsequent “debriefing.”

It looked like a star up above a drive-in theater in Arcadia, FL. This was in July of 1972… I started watching it. It started moving from the north to the south in a falling leaf pattern. It seemed to get larger. When it got overhead, I couldn’t see it anymore, so I got out of the car to look at it. Then I saw this white light coming out from underneath the yellow light. It was falling onto the ground; it looked like a searchlight. When it landed on me, it stopped. Then the light went out, and there was a form – a black shape behind the yellow light. There was no sound being emitted. It was directly above me… The shape behind was a batlike shape. It was huge. Later on that year, a man came to my door. I had been looking into all of this stuff, writing it all down – things that other people had told me. If someone told me that they’d seen a flying saucer, I’d say, “Oh yeah? Where? When?” I’d write it down and keep it in my records. I was living in D.C. I was working for the federal government. This man came to my door and knocked. I got out of bed to answer it, but I didn’t take the chain lock off. It was an Oriental man. He called me by name. He said, “Miss Montgomery, you will stop investigating flying saucers.” I kind of looked at him, and said, “You’re crazy!” I was not the kind of person who frightened [easily]. I do [frighten easily] now, but not then. He just said, “I’m telling you that you will, or you will be in great danger.” I slammed the door in his face. Then I got so mad that I turned around and opened it up again to yell at him more. When I opened it up and looked out, he wasn’t there… I quit my job as a typist for the FBI a few weeks later.

[Soon after] I was walking on the street. I was going back to my apartment when this man came up and grabbed my purse. He dumped it upside down. I asked him what he was doing. He said it was none of my business. He went searching through everything. He threw my wallet to one side. I thought, “This guy is not looking for money.” I had a little notebook with some UFO things written in it. He ripped the notebook up. He said, “I’m a police officer.” I said, “Show me some identification,” and stepped towards him. When I did, he shoved me backwards. Someone else grabbed me from behind… I fought with them. I don’t really know what happened [next]. I remember being shoved into the back of a van with no windows. I had been handcuffed. There were cuts at my wrists. The next thing I knew, it was like seven hours later. They had taken me to this place, dragged me down a hallway [and] strung me up. I don’t know where it was. They told me later that I was at a hospital. It looked like an underground passage. There were ladders going up each side into the ceiling, with trap doors over the top of them – kind of like an old armory or something. They took me upstairs in an elevator. When I got up there, they wanted me to drink something. I told them I wasn’t going to do it. They almost broke my neck making me drink it. That’s when I saw the clock. It didn’t make any sense, because the clock said 5:00 a.m. in the morning. [The time difference] shocked me. They threw me in a room after that. They undid my hands and told me to sign a piece of paper. I told them I wouldn’t do it. I don’t know if I signed anything or not.

I woke up later. I know they drugged me; I worked in a hospital long enough to know what medications [do]. I stood up. I went towards the door, and it opened. I wasn’t locked in! I walked out, and there was a man standing in the hallway. I asked him who he was. He chuckled that it “didn’t matter.” I said, “Where am I?” He said, “You’re in a psychiatric ward. You attempted to commit suicide last night by jumping out of the 5th story window of the FBI building.” I said, “No I didn’t, the windows there are barred.” He said, “Well, never mind. You will admit that you tried to commit suicide or you will never leave here. Your doctor will talk to you later.” I said, “Who is my doctor? You can’t admit me to a hospital without my signature.” He told me that I had been admitted and it didn’t matter by who. I met the [doctor]. He was a foreigner. He had light-colored hair; he sounded like he was German or Swedish. He started asking, “Do you believe in psychic powers? Do you believe in the undead? Do you believe in flying saucers?” I said, “Why are you asking me these questions?” He said, “To get an in-depth view of what you know and what you don’t know – how you believe – so that we can handle the problem.” I wouldn’t answer any more questions. They went through the same questions every day. They kept telling me I tried to kill myself, and I kept denying it. A week [passed]. He said, “Call your mother. Tell her to come and get you. Tell her you are in a mental institution and that she should come and get you out. [That is] if you promise to go home and not do anymore UFO research…” He gave me an address to tell her, which was in Georgetown… I think it was the FBI that held me, trying to make sure I didn’t [disseminate] any information…”
